Capcom has announced that it will be releasing the Arcade Edition of Street Fighter V this month. The game will be a free upgrade for existing Street Fighter V owners.


Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is the first major update for the fighting game since its release back in 2016. It will feature all original playable characters, a new Arcade Mode, Extra Battle Mode, selectable V-Triggers and new visuals.

The game plays the same as the original game, but it includes several improvements and additional pieces of content that have been requested by fans since the game released.

Those who already own Street Fighter V will be able to download a patch to gain access to the Arcade Edition free of charge.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will launch on January 16th, 2018, for PC and on January 19th, 2018, for PlayStation 4.
