Bethesda Softworks has announced that it is working on a patch for the PC version of the recently released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. The patch is supposed to address the game's low quality audio.
The PC version of the game released with compressed audio files that are used on the console versions of the game. After the release of the PC version many gamers complained on social media about the game's low quality audio.
With the new patch Bethesda hopes to address the issue by making sure the game makes use of higher quality audio files that were also present in the game's original 2011 release. The game developer did not comment on why the Special Edition of the game did not feature those higher quality audio files on release.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
