Ubisoft has released a high-res textures pack for the PC version of Far Cry 5. The content is available via a game update and is said to total at a whopping 29 GB in file size.
The high resolution textures are only available for the PC version of the game. Console versions of the game will also receive the same update, but without the textures pack.
Playing the game with the "HD Textures Pack" enabled means the game is more demanding on system resources. While no official system requirements were released, this is why users recommended to only use the option if your GPU has 4 GB VRAM or more.
The Far Cry 5 HD Textures Pack can be downloaded via the Uplay client via the game's DLC section. The pack should appear at the top of the "Owned DLC" list, ready to install. Those who bought the game on Steam will be able to install the pack via the same method.
