Square Enix has announced that it has released the PC version of NieR: Automata. The action roleplaying game was already available on the PlayStation 4.

According to a recent press release, gamers who have purchased the Day One Edition of NieR: Automata will automatically receive an exclusive "Valve Character Accessory," as well as other in-game bonus content.

The other bonus content includes various in-game items and skins, such as the Machine Mask Accessort, the Grimoire Weiss Pod, the Retro Grey Pod Skin, the Retro Red Pod Skin and the Cardboard Pod Skin.

NieR: Automata is set in the same universe as Nier and is a spin-off of the Drakengard series. Set in the midst of a proxy war between machines created by otherworldly invaders and the remnants of humanity, the story follows the battles of combat android 2B, her companion 9S, and the obsolete prototype A2.

Players control multiple characters through action-based gameplay, with new playable characters unlockable with each playthrough and story route.

NieR: Automata is now available via the Playstation Network Store and the Steam Store.
