The existence of a new Midnight Club racing game may have been leaked online via an Xbox Live profile web page. The profile featured two screenshots and an icon for the game.

The game seems to be a new title based on Midnight Club: Street Racing that was developed by Rockstar Games San Diego and was released in October 2000. The images were posted on Reddit earlier today.

In the first game a group of urban street racers known as the Midnight Club race for pride, power, and glory in customized, enhanced sports cars. As a regular New York City cab driver, the player learns about this secret club and decides to join.

The new screenshots reportedly show new licensed vehicles that were not available in the original game, suggesting that the game is a new Midnight Club franchise title.

Whether the screenshots are legit remains to be seen. Rockstar Games has not announced a new Midnight Club game since it released Midnight Club: Los Angeles in October 2008.

This comment has been removed. The 2nd screenshot actually has been debunked as fake already. The original image can be found here (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zRfBYP8f1FU/U5uwhGMi8GI/AAAAAAAAAwM/qzdZBBUnqd4/s1600/Screenshot23309.png) ... it's been edited with the HUD/UI however. So far the Nissan screenshot and the logo are nowhere to be found on the internet using Google's image reverse search ...

This comment has been removed. Too bad it might be fake but worst case it would have been a remaster or something. I think there are plenty of other 'arcade racers' out there for Rockstar to try and get a piece of that market...just not worth it with non AAA titles.

This comment has been removed. As unfortunate as is ... I'm leaning towards fake now. Reminds me a lot of this 'Wild West Online' screenshot debate that a lot thought would be a leaked Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshot. Has there ever? leaked anything from Rockstar Games?! I remember that the 2nd L.A. Noire trailer got leaked online on a Sunday ahead of the official reveal but that's all ...
