Thursday, July 13, 2017 - 15:34 GMT

Development studio Deck 13 has announced that the upcoming action RPG game The Surge will be getting a playable demo next week. The game launched in May.

The Surge is an action RPG set in a world ravaged by war and global warming. Fitted with your exo-suit and cybernetic implants, players will harness super-human strength to survive the CREO complex, a mega-corporation that set out to save the world.

The game received mixed reviews when it released earlier this year. What parts of the game will be available in the demo is still unknown, though all of the graphics settings are said to be available.

On PlayStation 4 Pro players will be able to select between two graphical modes: 30 fps at 4K resolution and 60 fps at 1080P resolution.

The Surge demo will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next week.
