Rare has released a new developer diary video for Sea of Thieves. In the video the developers of the game discuss creating 3d clouds.

The system that is able to generate clouds in Sea of Thieves allows the developers to model the clouds into any shape. In the video the system is demod by generating a pirate skull cloud.
Sea of Thieves features extensive multiplayer co-op capabilties in which players must work together to control a pirate ship. Players will face enemies and will battle enemy ships by using their ship's cannons.

Sea of Thieves is expected to launch in 2017 for PC and Xbox One.
