Indie development studio Awkwardnaut has announced that the space exploration game Far Ago has made its way to Steam Greenlight. The studio is also planning on launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund the final phase of development.

In the game players can explore planets, accomplish missions for different alien species, and follow the mighty quest of preventing the end of the universe.

Players will have the choice to either handle situation peacefully or to take a more aggressive option. The game features a destruction system that allows players to annihilate overpowering enemies with a well placed shot in the lower navel of their ship.

During the game players will also be able to buy bigger guns as they progress or they can collect them directly from the wreckage of enemies.

Far Ago is expected to launch in the fall of 2017 exclusively for the PC.
