Although exact details have yet to be released, the development team did confirm the release of Super Meat Boy for the Nintendo Switch via Twitter last week.

The title is said to be released before the recently announced sequel Super Meat Boy Forever. The sequel is scheduled to release in 2018.

The game will be available as digital download first and a physical release is scheduled for early 2018.
