EA Dice has announced that it will launch the Battlefield 1 open beta on August 31st. The open beta will be available for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
The Battlefield 1 open beta will contain the map Sinai Desert that will be revealed at Gamescom 2016 this week.
In the map players will be able to experience close quarters combat as well as air combat as they battle it out in and above the village Bir el Mazar. The map also features a deadly Armored Train that runs through the desert at random intervals.
During the open beta players will be able to play two game modes: Conquest and Rush. The Conquest game mode is the classic large scale 64 player combat mode that players will known from previous Battlefield games.
Rush is a 24 player team-based game mode in which players will have to seek and destroy the enemy's telegraph poles to prevent them from calling in artillery support.
Players who have signed up through Battlefield Insider will get early access to the game's beta test on August 21st. The open beta will launch roughly a week later on August 31st.
