Indie development studio Red Thread Games has announced its upcoming first-person mystery game Draugen. The game releases next year.
The new game is said to be a "single-player, first-person Fjord Noir mystery" set in 1920s Norway.
In the game players play as Edward Charles Harden, an American traveller who's come to Norway to find his missing sister. But you're not alone: at every step of the way, Edward's accompanied by his ward, Lissie; a gregarious, independent and enigmatic young woman.
The game was co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
Draugen is expected to release in 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
