Microsoft ends the press conference with an Xbox One S promotional video in which developers talk about 4K resolution gaming. PC gamers have been able to play games in 4K resolution since early 2014.

The new Xbox One console is codenamed Project Scorpio. Microsoft claims the console will be the fastest videogame console.

343 Industries has announced it will launch a Halo Wars 2 open beta today. The open beta runs from June 13th to June 20th.

State of Decay 2 has been announced and a first trailer has been shown. The trailer most likely features CGI, or computer generated imagery. The game is scheduled to release in 2017.

Rare has shown new gameplay footage of Sea of Thieves.

Platinum Games has shown new gameplay footage of Scalebound. The game is PC and Xbox One exclusive and will be available in 2017.

A new trailer for Dead Rising 4 has been shown. A release date has not yet been given.

Bandai Namco has shown new Tekken 7 gameplay. The game is releasing early 2017. Xbox Live Gold members get a free Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

CD Projekt Red has shown Gwent, a card game based on The Witcher franchise. The game is releasing for PC and Xbox One.

New gameplay of We Happy Few has been shown. The game is scheduled to release later this month for PC, Linux, Mac OS and Xbox One.

A new update for Minecraft will allow players of the iOS, Android or Windows 10 version of the game to play with eachother. In addition the update brings Minecraft Realms. With Realms players will be able to run a dedicated environment in which they can invite their friends.

The update also brings texture pack support to the mobile versions of the game. The update is likely to release this fall for mobile devices and a console update next year.

Microsoft announces it is adding additional servers to the Xbox Live service to bring a faster and more reliable network. In addtion Xbox Live gets an update this summer that brings features such as background music support, language region independence and Cortana.

With the new Clubs feature in Xbox Live Microsoft hopes to bring people together based on their interests. The update also brings Looking for Group features thta allows players to more easily join multiplayer matches. Lastly, Arena on Xbox Live will bring a competitive gaming hub that allows players to compete against eachother.

The first gameplay footage of Final Fantasy XV has been shown. The game is scheduled to release September 30th 2016.

New gameplay footage of ReCore has been shown. The game is an Xbox One exclusive title.

New gameplay footage of Forza Horizon 3 has been shown. In the demo players played together on three different versions of the game running on PC, Xbox One and Xbox One S.

The developer claims Forza Horizon 3 is the most social version of Forza ever. The game is releasing September 27th 2016.

Killer Instinct gets an update that brings the character General Raam to the game. It is a PC and Xbox One exclusive.

After the Gears of War 4 cross play announcement new gameplay footage has been shown. The game is scheduled to release October 11th 2016 for PC and Xbox One.

Gears of War 4 will support cross play. The technology allows gamers to play the game online with friends that have purchased either the PC and Xbox One version of the game.

Microsoft has just announced the Xbox One S. The slimmer version of the console features a 2TB internal harddisk, integrated power supply, IR blaster. In addition, the console ships with a new wireless controller that features textured grip and increased wireless range.
