Valve has made its shooter game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive completely free to play. The studio has also released the new battle royale Danger Zone game mode.
According to a recent press release, the new Danger Zone mode is a fast-paced battle royale game mode built on the game's tactical gameplay where players use their wits, skill, and resources to fight to the finish.
Players can play solo, or work together as a squad of two or three in matches with up to 18 players.
In addition, the game is now completely free to play, following the previous September announcement of a separate Free Edition.
Those who played before today's update will receive a commemorative Loyalty Badge they can display on their profile and Prime Status giving access to various weapon skins.
The new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Danger Zone game mode is now available.
