The Patient Zero campaign features four new missions that has players revisit different locations of the game, including Bangkok, Sapienza, Colorado and Hokkaido.

Each of the locations are re-worked from the original settings with new gameplay mechanics, disguises, characters and challenges. Some locations will feature new time of day and new custom music.

The new edition also contains various new outfits and themed weapons, including Clown Suit, Raven Suit, and Cowboy Suit, as well as three new themed Escalation Contracts.

Those who already own the game and its complete First Season are able to upgrade to the new content by purchasing the new edition at a reduced cost of $20.00 in North America and €20.00 in Europe.

Hitman: Game of the Year Edition launched last November for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
