A new version of the D912pxy add-on has added support for Blade and Soul. The wrapper forwards DirectX 9 calls to their DirectX 12 equivalent to improve game performance.

The D912pxy add-on was built specifically for the MMORPG game Guild Wars 2 in an attempt to decrease the API overhead of DirectX 9. By using the add-on this overhead is claimed to be reduced by up to 70 percent.

The most recent v1.1 release of the add-on now also brings support for the MMORPG game Blade and Soul, although performance improvements may not be as severe as in Guild Wars 2.

The release also improves support for Guild Wars 2 by further reducing API overhead and decreasing RAM usage. This may bring an additional improvement to frame rates depending on the hardware it runs on.

Developer Megai2 states that players should use the project at their own risk. The binaries and source code are available on GitHub.
