Bethesda has announced it will be releasing the PC version of its upcoming shooter game Wolfenstein: Youngblood one day earlier. A reason for the release date change was not given.
The new game is set in the 1980s. B.J. Blazkowicz is missing. His last-known whereabouts are Nazi-occupied Paris. The only ones who can find him are his twin daughters, Jess and Soph Blazkowicz.
The game is currently in development at MachineGames, the same studio that worked on previous Wolfenstein games. It will be the first game the studio has developed that will support RTX raytracing. However, raytracing support will not be available on release day.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood releases on July 25, 2019, for PC and on July 26, 2019, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
