New in the career mode is the ability to play the formation lap. The formation lap can be considered as a way to ensure that track conditions are safe, and that there are no dangerous problems with the cars. It is also often referred to as a warm-up lap.
F1 2016 is launching August 19th for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
