Hello Games has announced that it has released a new update for No Man's Sky. The update has been rumoured to be in development for months.
The new update introduces two new game modes that are available in addition to the default mode: Creative and Survival.
In the Creative game mode players have the ability to build their own base on a planet without limits, while the Survival game mode will test player's survival capabilities to their limits.
The new update also introduces a few new features, including teleporting to your home base, stackable items, terrain algorithm improvements.
Aside from a few new features the update also introduces several new graphics settings, including motion blur and temporal anti-aliasing.
The new update does, however, not add the most requested features that were promised before the game launched, including multiplayer, faction space combat, travel between galaxies without loading screens, profession classes and complex crafting.
The No Man's Sky Foundation Update is now available for both the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
