Indie development studio Blackmill Games has announced the release date for its WWI shooter game Tannenberg. The game releases in February.
Originally announced as Verdun: Tannenberg, Tannenberg is a standalone expansion pack for the original shooter game Verdun, meaning that those who have not purchased the original will still be able play. The game has been in its Early Access development phase for over a year.
As the Russian Empire faces off against the Austro-Hungarians and their German allies, it features new weapons and maps, along with a new 64 player game mode.
The game is said to focus on open field fights and players will have to adjust their tactics accordingly.
Tannenberg releases on February 13, 2019, exclusively for PC. The game is currently already available via Steam Early Access.
