The Winter Loot Boxes contain various new rewards, including profile icons, victory poses, emotres, highlight intros and skins. The new unlocked content can be used after the event ends.

The Winter Wonderland update also adds the new Mei's Snowball Offensive game mode. In the game mode every player uses the character Mei, who is equipped with a powerful snowball blaster. This weapon has one shot, but can be reloaded at snow piles.

In the Snowball Offensive game mode up to 12 players battle against eachother in the Ecopoint Antarctica map. The first team to defeat the enemy team three times wins the match.

The Overwatch Winter Wonderland update content is available now until January 2nd 2017.
