Fire Emblem: Three Houses has been delayed to July, Nintendo confirmed earlier today. The game was scheduled to release this spring.

The Officer's Academy is an elite facility that trains students in the ways of weapons, magic and special skills. As a professor, the player must choose one of these houses to lead its students in grid-based battles with life-or-death stakes.

Each house is comprised of many different students to meet and train, each with her or his own personality and skills. These students can interact with each other at the academy, strengthening their bonds and supporting each other on the battlefield.

The game is the sixteenth main title in the Fire Emblem series and the first on a home console since 2007's Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and as such features more detailed graphics.

The game focuses on the four protagonists Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is now scheduled to release on July 26, 2019, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
