Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the fighting game Tekken 7. The trailer gives viewers an overview of the game's features.
The new game is the 7th installment in the Tekken franchise, excluding several spin-off games. The arcade version of the game was already released in March 2015.
Tekken 7 is the first title in the franchise to make use of the Unreal Engine to power its visuals and as such may feature extensive graphics settings in the PC version of the game.
In the game three new mechanisms are introduced to the franchise that enhance gameplay.
The first mechanism is called Rage Art, which allows players to execute critical attacks that deal damage depending on the character's health bar, and the second mechanism is called Power Crush, which allows players to continue their attacks even while they get hit by the enemy.
The third and final new mechanism is called Rage Drive, which gives players access to specific special movies that are unique to each character.
The game also features several other gameplay enhancements, including changes to movement, display and graphics, dynamic stages, as well as an improved multiplayer experience.
The version that will be making its way to the PC and consoles in June is based on an updated version of the original arcade version called Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.
Tekken 7 launches on June 2nd 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
