Development studio Gearbox Software has announced that it has opened a new development studio in Quebec, Canada. The game developer is known for its involvement in the development of Duke Nukem Forever, Borderlands and Battleborn.
On the new website of the Quebec division Gearbox has already listed several new job openings at the new location, including Engine Programmer, Technical Animator, Animator, Lead Artist, Character Artist and Level Designer.

The new Quebec division is lead by Pierre-Andre Dery and Sebastian Caisse. The two worked on Skylanders: Swap Force and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Gearbox Quebec is said to start work on the development of a new Gearbox IP that has not yet been announced.
