Polyphony Digital has announced that it will delay the release of Gran Turismo Sport. The game was scheduled to launch November 15th.

In the announcement the development studio says that it needs additional time to polish the game stating that it wants the game to be perfect. The studio claims it has already dedicated much effort to the development of the game since it was announcement earlier this year.

"We are more committed than ever to making GT Sport the best Gran Turismo game to date." Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi said in a statement.

"GT Sport will continue to be shown at several gaming events around the world. I hope everyone has the opportunity to experience first-hand the yet-to-be revealed cutting edge experiences that will be achieved by GT Sport." Yamauchi added.

Two weeks ago Sony released over 70 new Gran Turismo Sport screenshots that showcase the game's visuals and vehicles. A new released date for the game has not been given.
