PUBG update adds setting to select weapon default firing rates

The latest PC update for the battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has introduced a setting that allows players to select the default weapon firing rates for a variety of weapons, including SMGs, ARs and DRMs.

The weapon firing rate setting was added with PC update #25, which also introduced the PUBG Vikendi night mode weather to the game. The setting is a long-requested feature because every newly picked-up weapon was set to single fire mode by default.

The update also rebalances the loot that players will find on the snow map Vikendi. The changes mean players will find more SMGs and ARs and less DRMs and level 3 helmets and vests. These changes should make the gameplay experience more enjoyable.

The update also introduces the new Canted Sight weapon attachment to allow players to utilize a secondary scope slot on certain weapons, and the new Bizon SMG weapon.
