The recently released Batman game from Telltale Games, Batman: The Telltale Series, got slammed with negative Steam reviews following the game's release earlier this week.

In the 24 hours that the game has been available for purchase hunderds of gamers have left negative reviews on the game's Steam store page. Many of the reviews indicate that the game is riddled with performance issues, control issues, bugs and crashes.

The performance issues seem to relate to poor framerates across all ranges of videocards, including high-end GPUs. The controller issues relate to the game incorrectly binding actions when modifying the standard controller layout. In addition the game features bugs that prevent players from advancing the game's storyline, often resulting into the game crashing.

Telltale Games has yet to comment on the game's poor PC version but it seems unlikely that the developer didn't know about the issues prior to the release of the game.
