ArenaNet has announced that it has launched the next Living World content update for the MMORPG game Guild Wars 2. The new update brings the fourth episode of the third Living World season.
The new update adds the new area Lake Doric to the game which is located right of Divinity's Reach. The new area is also where most of the new Living World story episode is taking place.
For PvE raid players the update also introduces a new raid wing titled Bastion of the Penitent. In the new wing players will deconstruct the mysteries of the bloodstone explosion ad learn the true story of one of "history’s most misunderstood figure."
Aside from new content, the update also includes a fix for AB map multi-looting which influenced the game's economy. Now that the fix is in place players will only be able to loot the great and grand chests once each time they complete the map's meta event, once per map cycle.
Another welcomed addition is the inclusion of a new, challenging group-farming spot for tier 6 leather crafting materials to bring down its price on the game's trading post.
The Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 3 Episode 4 is now available free of charge until the next Living World update launches in two months.
