CD Projekt Red's upcoming action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 will not be an Epic Games exclusive title, the studio confirmed via social media last week.
When asked by a fan whether the game would become an Epic Games Store exclusive title, the studio commented that it would "pass on that", suggesting that it has no intention of making exclusivity deals.
Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is also not available on Steam for the same reasons, but because the game is far less popular most PC gamers didn't mind.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future: Night City.
Players play as V, a hired gun on the rise, who just got their first serious contract. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend.
Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to release in 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
