Niantic Games has released a new update for the iOS version of Pokemon Go that allows players to partially play the game on their Apple Watch.

The update for the game was released last Thursday. With the new feature players can pair their iPhone with their Apple Watch device to receive on-screen details about which Pokemon hide nearby.

Players will have to pull our their iPhone to engage with Pokemon, because capturing them is not possible via the smartwatch. Players are also able to keep track of how much kilometers they have walked.
