Mpact Games has released a new developer diary video for Hanako: Honor & Blade. The indie hack and slash game has been in development for several years.

In the game players can choose from four different classes: Kenshi, Naginatashi, Ite and Ninja as they battle against opposing teams for several different objectives.

The Kenshi class is the game's swordsman class, the Naginatashi the bladed-staff class, Ite the archter class and Ninja the specialist class, with each class featuring their own unique set of abilities.

Every level included in the game is designed to present unique obstacles and mechanics which will require strategy and teamwork to deceive your enemies, including flammable cover and forested areas that conceal the player's visibility.

The game is built upon Unreal Engine 4 and is expected to feature several maps, four different game modes and multiplayer for up to 24 players.

The game successfully went through Steam's Greenlight program several years ago and its developers have recently hinted towards a fall 2017 release for the PC version of the game.
