The release of the strategy game Total War: Three Kingdoms has been delayed again. The game will now release in May.
According to a recent announcement, development studio Creative Assembly needs more time to polish the game. The new game is said to contain "a new level of complexity" that requires more time to deliver.
It is a brutal and oppressive regime, and as Dong Zhuo's power grows, the empire slips further into the cauldron of anarchy. However, hope blossoms as three heroes rally support to bid to challenge Dong Zhuo's remorseless rule.
It isn't the first time that the studio has delayed the game. It was originally scheduled for a fall 2018 release, but it was delayed to March 7, 2019. However, the studio has now confirmed it will not meet that release date.
Total War: Three Kingdoms is now scheduled to release on May 23, 2019, exclusively for PC.
