The upcoming battle royale game Darwin Project will make its way to Steam Early Access this coming Friday. The game was announced in June 2017.
The battle royale game has its own unique twist on the genre. Every round includes ten players each with a bow and an axe. Each player will spawn in a quadrant on the map and will have to craft items and upgrades to survive against the elements and the others.

To survive, players would have to use these materials to upgrade their weapons, make traps, craft arrows and fight of the cold by making fire or a coat.
One of the ten players will get the role of Show Director, powering unscripted events by selecting from a range of actions to mix up gameplay.
In our preview of the game we noted that the game has the potential to be a great outlier in the genre.
Darwin Project will release on Steam Early Access on March 9, 2018.
