Platinum Games has announced that the action RPG game NieR: Automata will support the PlayStation 4 Pro. The game will make use of the console's additional processing power.
In an interview Producer Yosuke Saito stated that NieR: Automata will support the PlayStation 4 Pro by having it run at 60 frames per second.
The game developer is also working on getting the game to run at 4K resolution, but it is unknown if the console will be able to provide sufficient processing power.
Saito also noted that the game developer is currently not working on an Xbox One version of the game. Platinum Games will make its decision on whether to release an Xbox One version of the game once it has insight in the game's sales figures.
NieR: Automata launches February 23th 2017 for PC and PlayStation 4.
