Microsoft has announced that the PC version of Halo Wars 2 will get a physical disc release. The game will be released in two versions: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition.
The newly announced physical disc release is a collaboration between Microsoft and THQ Nordic, who will be responsible for the distribution of the PC version of the game.
The physical disc release will be available in two versions. The first version is what Microsoft calls the Standard Edition and features the base game and a key for the digital version of the Xbox One version of the game via the Play Anywhere program.
The second version is dubbed the Ultimate Edition and includes all the contents of the Standard Edition along with a key for the game's Season Pass and a key for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition.
The Ultimate Edition will be available starting February 17th 2017 and the Standard Edition will be available 4 days later on February 21st 2017.
