The development studio behind the multiplayer shooter game LawBreakers and Battle Royale game Radical Heights, Boss Key Productions, has closed its doors, CEO Cliff Bleszinski confirmed via Twitter.
According to the recent announcement, the studio is closing its doors because both its titles failed to attracted a significant number of players despite significant development efforts.
Because the game failed to attract players the studio decided to stop development back in April 2018 to focus on another title.
Not long after the studio announced a new Battle Royale game titled Radical Heights. The game was advertised as a free "X-TREME Early Access" game that featured high-stakes gunplay as players loot for weapons, gadgets and cosmetics.
Because the game seemingly failed to innovate on the genre it was not well received on social media. Despite this, the game managed to attract 16,000 players in its first two days.
However, according to Bleszinski, the game was well received but stated that its popularity was "too little too late".
The multiplayer servers for Radical Heights will stay online for the time being.
