Indie development studio RageSquid has released its downhill biking game Descenders on Steam. In the game players race on procedurally generated tracks.

In Descenders, players experience extreme downhill freeriding in procedurally generated worlds. Mistakes have real consequences as they can cost you victory.

The game is said to feature freestyle biker controls to allow players to control every subtle movement of their bike. A physics engine powers slick whips and crubs.

Because the fast-paced biking game features procedurally generated worlds, every playthrough is different: take on different jumps, slopes and hillbombs every time you play.

The game also features multiplayer modes to join friends to race down the steepest tracks, chill out at the skate park or play a game of hide and seek in nine distinct worlds.

The game had been in its Early Access development phase for over a year and is now ready for release.

Descenders released on May 7, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
