2K Games has released the TV commercial for Mafia 3. In the video viewers get an introduction to the storyline of the game.
The video shows Lincoln learning about his adopted family's debt to the Italian mafia family known as the Marcanos. Because his family was unable to pay the debt the Marcanos took their lifes. As a result Lincoln is seeking revenge to settle the score.

For Lincoln to have his payback he needs to take over the game's city New Bordeaux. During the game's singleplayer campaign Lincoln meets several characters that help him run the city.
New Bordeaux is a fictional city based on New Orleans, which is known for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene, and spicy, singular cuisine reflecting its history as a melting pot of French, African and American cultures.
Mafia 3 launches October 7th for the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
