Bandai Namco has revealed its next upcoming action RPG game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. It is the official product title for Dragon Ball Project Z, which was a working title.

In the game, players are said to be able to relive the story of Goku. Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the Dragon Ball Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku.

Explore the new areas and adventures as you advance through the story and form powerful bonds with other heroes from the Dragon Ball Z universe.

The new game will follow up the previous games Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ. However, the genre of this game is different than the previous two.

The game is currently in development at CyberConnect2, a Japanese game development studio located in Fukuoka. The studio also worked on the Naruto Shippuden fighting games.

It will tell the story of the mysterious Dragon Balls and follows the events of the TV series from start to finish.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is expected to release in early 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
