Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be getting an open beta test next month, development studio Ubisoft confirmed earlier this week.

The open beta test will start on March 1, 2019, and last until March 4, 2019. It will give players a chance to play before the game's release two weeks later.

The game makes use of the same engine as the original game, Snowdrop, and has been in development since the original game released back in 2016.

Ubisoft pulled the game from Steam last month, stating that the game is now only available via its own Uplay Store and Epic's Game Store. The publisher did not comment on why it doesn't want to sell the game via Steam anymore.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 releases on March 15, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
