Ubisoft has released a new character spotlight trailer for the upcoming turn-based adventure game Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The game launches later this month.
In the game Nintendo's Mario and Ubisoft's Rabbids work together as they progress through the game's campaign. The game will feature at least 4 world environments to discover, and environments will also include puzzles and secret zones.
On the turn-based combat side, the game will feature 8 unique characters that each have their own play style, tactical options such as dash, team jumps, warp pipes and destructible covers, upgradable and collectible weapons, a variety of combat objectives, 7 enemy archetypes and 1 boss per world.
The game will also feature two player local multiplayer co-op by connecting two consoles to each other.
The game is currently in development at Ubisoft Paris and Ubisoft Milan and it will run on Ubisoft's proprietary game engine Snowdrop.
Earlier this month the studio also released a separate trailer that featured the character Mario.
Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle launches on August 29, 2017, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

This comment has been removed. Meh, i dont understand where these 'rabbits' come from, and they dont fit with Mario/Luigi at all. I guess i shouldnt be surprized that Ubisoft is trying new things and failing, thats like their mantra these days.
