Ubisoft has announced that it has launched the new 1.5 update for Tom Clancy's: The Division. The update introduces several improvements and bugfixes. Along with the update the test servers also feature the new Survival game mode.

The new update is curently only available via the Public Test Server on the PC version of the game. Players will be able to play both player versus elements survival as well as player versus player survival.

The second downloadable content for the game transforms the game into a survival sim with players having to fight their way through a blizzard in order to survive.

The survival content is the second downloadable content for the game and was originally scheduled to launch alongside the 1.4 update that was released last October but was eventually delayed because the development team required additional time to polish the game.

The new content is currently restricted to those who have purchased a Season Pass before November 3rd 2016. An official launch date for the new content has not yet been given.
