Bungie has launched a trial version of Destiny 2. The trial version gives players access to two locations: European Dead Zone on Earth and the moon Titan. The social hub Farm is also accessible.

All campaign missions and adventures featured in the trial locations are available and the multiplayer mode Crucible is also accessible when played in quickplay.

The maximum level players can reach is 7 and those who play the trial version will also be able to join a clan to gain experience points. All progression can be carried over when players decide to purchase the full version of the game.

In our review of the game we gave it an 8 out of 10 score praising the games combat mechanics but also noted that the game features the same loot grinding mechanics as the original.

The trial version of Destiny 2 will be for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 starting today.
