EA Games has announced that it will be bringing the new Battlelog user interface to the PC version of Battlefield 4 this spring. The user interface update has been available on the console versions for many months.

The new Battlelog user interface that will be available for the PC version of the game this spring will be the same interface that is also used in Battlefield 1 and the console versions of Battlefield 4.

The user interface update for the console versions of Battlefield 4 was already released in August of last year and fans of the franchise have long questioned whether the update would still be released on the PC because it has been delayed numerous times.

Battlelog has long been criticized for making the multiplayer component of Battlefield games tedious and frustrating.

The PC versions of recent Battlefield games, except for Battlefield 1, did not include in-game server browsers to join multiplayer servers. Instead, PC players were forced to install a browser plug-in to be able to browse multiplayer servers via their browser.

Before the release of Battlefield 1, the last Battlefield game to feature an in-game server browser was Battlefield Bad Company 2, which released 7 years ago in 2010.
