ArenaNet has launched a new skill balance update for the popular MMORPG game Guild Wars 2. The balance update changes many of the game's existing skills.
The new balance patch that was released earlier today contains the skill balance update that the game receives every few quarter.
The most notable changes include tweaks to Warrior skills, by increasing the number of banner targets, and tweaks to Revanant skills, by making Alacrity available through the Salvation specialization line.
The new update also adds small pieces of new content for players to discover, including a new Firstborn Trahearne statue located in one of the game's major cities the Grove. The statue may be linked to new Current Events, though that is still unconfirmed.
The update also includes changes to the Player versus Player and World versus World game modes. In the PvP mode the number of Transmutation Charges obtained through league chests has been reduced and in the WvW mode being killed while outnumbered no longer grants any war score to the enemy teams.
The full release notes for the patch are available on the game's offcial forum along with the all the skill changes.
