Frontier Developments has announced that the coaster park simulation game Planet Coaster will be getting a free update in April. The update will add new rides and a new feature.
The Spring Update is the second major expansion for the game following the Winter Update that was released in December. The update will build upon the foundation that was layed out with the Winter Update by adding new rides and a new feature.
The new rides that will be introduced via the update are three new rollercoasters: the Steel Hydra, the Trident and the Bakasura, a new tracked ride in the form of Go Karts, three new flatrides: The Elixir Machine, Big Wheel and ZoZo.
The update will also introduce the new Crime and Security feature that adds new danger to the world of Planet Coaster by adding pickpockets and vandels to players' parks.
A crime-ridden park will see guests' happiness fall along with park profits, but security guards and CCTV cameras will be on hand to keep park guests safe and prevent mischief-makers from spoiling the fun.
The Planet Coaster Spring Update will be available starting April 11th 2017 and will be available free of charge.
