ArenaNet has released a new developer diary video for Guild Wars 2. In the video developers of the game discuss the creation of Ember Bay. The map is the new area players can explore in Living World Season 3 Episode 2.

The next episode will take players to a new area called the Ember Bay located in the Ring of Fire islands that players were last able to explore in the original Guild Wars game.

Just like the new Bloodstone Fen area of the first episode of Season 3 players will once again be able to make use of their Ley Line Gliding Mastery to get around the map faster.

In the new map players are able to earn a new Mastery similar to the Masteries that were available in the game's first expansion Heart of Thorns. The new Mastery is called Thermal Tubes and shoots players out of lava cannons scattered all over the new map.

In the map players will also be able to use the existing Ley Line Gliding Mastery. Ember Bay features a "Ley Line Rollercoaster" that allows players to easily travel through several sections of the map in seconds.

Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 3 Episode 2 launches September 20th 2016.
