Hello Games has confirmed that the PC version of No Man's Sky has been delayed by 3 days. The release date of the PC version of the game was changed last July.
We first learned of the possible delay of the PC version of No Man's Sky back in July when the game's official website started displaying a different release date than what was previously announced.
In the recent announcement Sean Murray, the founder of Hello Games, confirmed the delay, though he did not comment on its reason. With the announcement the release date of the game on the digital distribution platforms Steam and GOG has also been updated.
In No Man's Sky players explore a procedurally generated deterministic open universe containing over 18 quintillion planets. The developer recently revealed that the game will take up 6 GB of disk space. The first launch update for the game is already in the works.
No Man's Sky is set to release August 9th in the US and August 10th in Europe for Playstation 4 and August 12th for PC worldwide.
