Newly released gameplay footage of Shadow Warrior 2, the upcoming first-person shooter game in development by Poland-based indie development studio Flying Wild Hog, showcases the game's awe inspiring landscapes, epic sword battles, gunfights and the game's story. The game is the sequel to the 2013 reboot of Shadow Warrior.

The level environments are more open and non-linear than in the previous title. New traversal mechanics have been added such as climbing walls and double jumping to allow for more exploration. Mission structure in Shadow Warrior 2 is less restricted than its predecessor, players can now revisit earlier missions to re-engage past enemies in order to upgrade Wang's skills. The game features over 70 different weapons, varying between firearms and blades.

The game is scheduled to launch later this year for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
