Arenanet has released a new teaser video for an upcoming Fractals of the Mists map that is part of the Guildwars 2 Living World Season 3 update that was announced two weeks ago.

Although the developer has not yet given any details on the inner workings of the new fractal the trailer does show a variety of landscapes. The new fractal will most likely feature similar enemies that can also be found in the recently released raid wing updates.

Fractals of the Mists is a special type of dungeon that consists of an array of mini-dungeons called fractals, where each fractal has its own story and environment. Characters are adjusted to level 80 within the dungeon. The dungeon is one of the primary sources of ascended equipment and provides materials for crafting infused equipment and attuned equipment.

Earlier today the developer also released a teaser video for the upcoming Guildwars 2 PvP map Revenge of the Capricorn.

The Guildwars 2 Living World Season 3 update will launch Tuesday, July 26th, and is part of the game's July quarterly update patch.
