EA Dice has released the launch trailer for Battlefield 1. The trailer features several ingame shots to showcase the Frostbite engine. The game officially launched yesterday.

Battlefield 1 is the first Battlefield game set during the first World War. In the game players can make use of World War I weapons, including bolt-action rifles, automatic and semi-automatic rifles, artillery, flamethrowers, and mustard gas to combat opponents.

The next installment in the Battlefield franchise also features reworked melee combat by introducing new melee weapons suchas sabres, trench clubs and shovels.

Players can also take control of various armored vehicles, including light and heavy tanks, armored trucks, biplane aircraft, battleships and zeppelin, as well as ride horses into battle.

Destructible environments and weapon customization will also be making a return, though environment destruction capabilities seems to be toned down compared to previous Battlefield titles.

Battlefield 1 is now available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
